INTO ETERNITY To Focus On New Record
November 29, 2005Tim Roth of the Regina, Saskatchewan-based progressive metallers INTO ETERNITY has posted the following message on the band's official web site:
"It's really nice to take it easy at home. All the guys have been recovering after a year of hard touring. It was an amazing year for our band. There are so many people that we would like to thank for that. Without the fans coming and supporting us, there would be no shows. For that we are very proud of our new fan base. We hope to see you all next year on the road.
"All of December we plan on taking off. In the meantime we will be writing our music for the next INTO ETERNITY album, which we plan on recording in early spring. It will be good to recharge our batteries and live a 'normal' life for awhile. The main focus now will be our new record. I know we have the talent now to come up with some great songs. After doing 140 shows, I think the guys are all comfortable with every aspect of the band. The new songs should prove it all we hope."
INTO ETERNITY's upcoming CD will be the group's first with singer Stu Block of Vancouver's OMEGA CROM. The band's third album, "Buried In Oblivion", was released in February 2004 through Century Media Records. As was the case with their previous two albums, "Buried In Oblivion" was recorded at Touchwood Studios in Regina with ex-bassist Scott Krall, Grant Hall and Johnny "Sixpack" Gasparic handling the majority of production duties.
